1 August 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬-‭30‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Moving in God’s way, doing God’s work, will never lack God’s provisions. Who is leading you in your family, work, business and ministry? Without the Lord as our Shepherd, we would not have vision for the provision, like a lost sheep in the wilderness.

Know this that we have an enemy which is a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8. Without the Shepherd’s leading, our own ways can easily lead us to temptations, pitfalls and evil influences to sin. Today just in the palm of our hands is the digital world, and most people are so quick to have a wired time with the world rather than quiet time with God in prayer, word and worship. The enemy’s scheme is to waste our time, resources, and energy on the flesh rather than answering God’s calling, purpose and will to the harvest field. Do we have fulfilment in our hearts or emptiness in the world? Is the Lord leading you in the spirit to spread the gospel, impacting lives, and saving souls? Or are we just satisfying ourselves following our flesh. It’s time for a change inwardly to be set apart and be lead by the Lord and to hear the His voice. He will lead you to His green pastures and quiet waters.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me hear your voice first daily in my Spirit, to seek ye first the Kingdom and your righteousness. Give me your manna for my soul, and fill me up with your Spirit, that I may know you more and more. Let I not lead my life with my fleshly desires but to yield to your Spirit and truth in your Word to love one another. Let everyday be filled with new encounters, divine experiences and breakthroughs with you my Shepherd, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
