10 Jan 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ It is not easy to cope with loss in our lives. It can be finances, relationships, or health. We all struggle to fill and restore them but is futile. Why? No one is able to satisfy our soul except the Lord, and there is no healer or restorer like Him. 1 Samuel 2:2.

We can also grief and mourn over someone who passed and we couldn’t move on because love left a deep void within us. Nevertheless the divine comfort we encounter is that God is able to fill our soul again, for He is more than enough. We don’t have to fill the void with things or people but allowing God to fill all emptiness within us to restore our soul. Healing comes when our soul prospers in Christ, so does our health and wellness. 3 John 2. God’s love gives us new capacity to pass on the love we had received, for a new transformation. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for your comfort and your wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You who is the lover of my soul is able to heal and restore my broken heart and weary soul. You are the way, the truth, and the life. Use my emptiness and void to be your cup and vessel where love could overflow once again with your agape love, peace and Spirit. You are more than enough for me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
