11 Jan 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah” Psalms‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ In 2025, let us put God first in our hearts, our first love, through prayer. Learning to give God our first reflects our love for Him. The church has to learn to return to their first love in the end of times. Many have struggled because they have lost their first love for God.

Give Him our first day of our week, which is the Church. Give Him our first hour of our day, which is our prayer devotion. Give Him our firstfruit of His providence, which is our tithe. Give Him our first voice which His Word. And Give Him our first seeking of counsel, which is our discernment and decisions. When we seek God first and His Kingdom, He hears our prayers, petitions and thanksgiving in our hearts. Matthew 6:33 And He shall pour out His peace and providence that there shall not be room to accommodate. When we are filled with His love, He overwhelms us beyond our minds and hearts. Philippians 4:7-8. We become an overflowing cup.

Prayer: O Lord my God, nothing can satisfy my soul except you and nothing can bring me joy except your presence. In your light I see light, and your Word is like a fountain of life, living waters which fill all my dryness, restoring me from tiredness, and blessing all my weaknesses. For when I am weak, then you are strong. My hope is always in your presence in prayer. Guard my mind and heart in your peace, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
