Today's Inspiration: God's gift of the spirit enables us to confront fear and make sound judgement in alignment to His will. We must not allow fear to grip our soul to paralyse our potential. 2 Timothy 1:6-7. Once we are called and converted, these trials though somewhat difficult are rarely punishment from God. They are exercises in learning sound judgement regarding our faith. Deep trials require repentance and change our ways of thinking.

Carnality cannot please God. To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually mind is life and peace. Romans 8:6-7. Carnality looks at God as the enemy. Carnality is the remnant of the spirit of Satan's world in us. Spirit of self-centeredness always want to hold some of itself back to preserve independence. Hence many a time a fail to our regret. We need to remember that we did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear but we receive the spirit of adoption by whom we cried out Abba Father.

Therefore, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:14. Let us walk without striving nor envy. Cast out the world of the flesh, the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. We are of the Lord's.

Whether we live or die, we die to the Lord. For He died and rose again that He might be the Lord of the living and the dead where we have to stand one day before His judgement seat to give account of ourselves to God. So be holy for He who calls you is holy and His calling is irrevocable. We are called by His grace but we must be the few who are chosen. The only virtue that qualifies us for a reward is to be faithful to the end notwithstanding the trials and tribulations but to conquer them. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord whatever is not of faith is sin. Therefore, help me to overcome every battle that is set before me so that I can bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
