Today’s Inspiration: “Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” Isaiah 58:12 NIV. Do not be afraid when the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, for God always has a rebuilding plan. If it applies for the Jews and Israel, it will be so for the gentiles and Nations in Christ. God is not just a builder, He is a rebuilder and restorer of homes and families.
No one is abstained from pain, sufferings, and hurts in life, so did the life of Jesus. But be of good cheer, Christ has shown us how to overcome the world. John 16:33. Many a times, congregants came to me to ask for a powerful, personal and deep healing session to settle all one’s problems in life. How good would it be and sound? Then the Holy Spirit replied,” How long does it take to renovate your physical house and how much work it would take?” How much more for one’s soul that has not been cleansed, sanctified and be transformed for decades? Healing is a personal process, spiritual renovation and a journey with Christ alone in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in one’s heart. Have we ever dealt with our wounds in life?
Prayer: O Lord my God, for your love is patient and is kind. I thank you, for you are a God who rebuilds, restores and renews my soul daily. Reveal to me what is not pleasing to you in my attitudes, behavior and character. Forgive my sins and lead me in your everlasting ways. For I know I am a sinner saved by grace, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
