Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:22 NKJV. Christ was speaking about His purpose to the Cross and how God is able to turn all sorrows into joy by His Resurrection with the great gift of the Holy Spirit. We may have many sorrows in the past year or growing up years and God knows them. But if we choose to put our trust in Him and give unto the Lord all our cares to the Cross, there is an unspeakable love, peace and joy that will fill us up.
When all we is Christ, Christ is all that we need to overcome. In 2025, we shall be overcomes through Christ Jesus in His Word, Worship, and Way. When we walk according to the Word of God, our soul shall have peace and providence from His promises in the gospel. Healing is the children’s bread and Hope brings tremendous joy in Christ, knowing what He gives us can never be taken away within us and our Spirit is filled with His presence and peace. “Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”Psalms 73:25-26
Prayer: O Lord my God, we shall walk by faith and not by sight. Lead us by your spirit and it is for freedom that Christ set us free so that we do not yoke again to the slavery of sin and sorrows. We are your children whom you have set free to be the light to the world and the watchers of your Kingdom. Let us be like the wise virgins and bride who keeps our lamps burning, with extra oil bought and wick trimmed. Let 2025 be a year of breakthrough and turning around from sorrow to joy, in Jesus Name, Amen.
