14 September 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭41‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ The difference between the prayer that went into slumber by the disciples and the prayer of Jesus that lasted for hours is watchfulness. Without watchfulness in prayer, we can lose focus and succumb to the flesh. Watchfulness keeps our spiritual lamps burning. On the other hand, watchfulness without prayer is powerless due to busyness. God’s word has given us His spirit and life. John 6:63.

Don’t not stop watching over your prayer life and never let your prayer life stop watching God’s word and His promises come to pass in our lives. I remember me and my mum watched and prayed for my father’s salvation for more than a decade before he received Christ. God’s word says,”And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ Breakthrough is on its way for our eyes are on Christ. Keep Sowing.

Prayer: O Lord my God, all your promises are yes and amen in your appointed time for the anointed in action. Let me not go into slumber but in spiritual fervour and sensitiveness to the Holy Spirit to watch and pray. Renew my mind and quicken my spirit so that my flesh profits nothing. I believe the coming season is going to be filled with your healing, salvation, breakthroughs, signs, and wonders, in the mighty Name of Jesus' Christ, Amen.
