Today’s Inspiration: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4 ESV. The world looks to results, performance, and appearances but the kingdom of God looks at relationships, clean hands, and a pure heart. The greatest challenge of our times is isolation, self-centeredness and loneliness.
Worship breaks these strongholds because when we humble ourselves before God, we allow God to work in us and through us for spiritual formation and transformation. The most evident sign of manifestation of the Holy Spirit is generosity, grace, and goodness to the people around us. His love breaks our bitterness; His grace breaks our grievances, and His mercy breaks our hardness. During the day of the Pentecost, the body of Christ were so moved by the Spirit that they looked to others needs rather than their own possessions. Acts 2:45. Would you build 2025 with deeper intimacy with God, strong Koinonia and good relationships?
Prayer: O Lord my God, I invite your Holy Spirit to fill my heart and my mind in bringing healing, restoration, and reconciliation with God, self, and others. Let my mind be more like Christ and my heart be more of you. May the anointing of the Holy Spirit lead me into thy throne room and let your Word reveal your purpose, calling, and will in my life. Your presence is my desire and your word is my delight, in Jesus Name, Amen.
