Today’s Inspiration: “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Psalms 30:5 NKJV. The psalms reveal the heart of our Abba father in heaven. The root of dysfunctional homes today is due to the lack of the Father’s love but the gospel brings forth the heart of God to bring back all prodigals children into the Kingdom. David didn’t have a good father but He knew he has a great Father in heaven who looks after him. Psalm 27:10.
David sang,”A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” Psalms 68:5-6. God loves us more than being angry with us, just like a father. Love covers a multitude of sins and never fails to bring a turnaround or breakthrough in one’s heart and soul for reconciliation. We are all prodigal in some way or another but He is always watching us over the roof, patiently waiting for our return in salvation and safety. He doesn’t despise because of our mistakes, embraces us even when we are unworthy or dirty, and celebrates our homecoming. Behind every storm, there is always His rainbow waiting for us.
Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for being my Abba Father. Let my prayer be for the fathers of my Nation that they may know you and turn back to you with your great salvation. Raise up also spiritual fathers in the body of Christ that many fatherless can experience your love in your House. Thank you for revealing and giving your precious and only begotten Son Jesus Christ, for you so love us that we do not perish, but have eternal life. Bless the fathers and strengthen the mothers who are praying, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
