Today‘s Inspiration: “A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. ”Proverbs 21:2-3 NIV. Do not walk in the flesh satisfying our desires but learn to walk in the Spirit by hearing the voice of God. We learnt from the Bible that many kings failed and fall because they didn’t inquire from the Lord but fought battles with their own strength, idols and worst still, having false prophets and counsel around them.
King David always sought and seek the Lord for His decision and contemplation in prayer, word, and worship. Psalm 121. “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”1 Samuel 15:22. Our flesh is very noisy but our spirit is very silent. For who knows the person’s deepest thought except the spirit man. I Corinthians 2:11 It is time to still our hearts and silence our minds to seek the Lord’s face and not just his hands. Our hearts are restless because they do not yield to rest in the Lord. Obedience comes from the Holy Spirit but rebellion comes from the demonic. When there is obedience, breakthroughs and blessings come. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, silence all my the foes and avengers outside and within me. Let my mouth give you praise and thanksgiving in my heart. Lead me into your presence, plans and purpose of your time. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heavens for your ways are higher than my ways. Lead me with your Holy Spirit and your Word for they shall be the lamp to my feet and light to my path. Let me be thou vision and reveal new dreams of your divine direction, for your sheep follows you, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
