18 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.”James‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV. We have heard about the Great Commission and the Great Commandment of the Lord but few talk about the Great Coming of the Lord. The former speaks about the Salvation and Spirit of God but few speak about the Sanctification of God, which is the latter days and rain before the second coming of our Lord Messiah Yeshua.

A farmer’s faith is not just in the sowing or the reaping but on the watching, watering, and waiting, ensuring there are no weeds, tares, or creatures. Life is not about being born or ending with last breath but on the living for Christ. It is not what we see that bears fruit in life but what we cannot see which bears faith in the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Our attitude, behaviour and character are realms we cannot see and only the Word of God can reflect the image of God for conviction, change and consecration. The divine work of the Holy Spirit is sanctification, which removes our old man and put on Christ. Ephesians 4:22-24. It is the in-between that matters. Tests, transitions and transformations are essential for spiritual growth. Have faith.

Prayer: O Lord my God, as deep calls upon the deep, so does your Spirit brings fresh revelation in my spirit man. Let there be new exposures, experiences, and encounters of your divine destiny, devotion and direction. Let there be a spiritual change within me. Bring healing, restoration and reconciliation in your everlasting ways, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
