Today‘s Inspiration: “Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 8:34-35 NIV. Jesus Christ led a life not just about healing, miracles, signs and wonders, but above all a life of deep, disciplined and devoted intimacy with God. The main challenge in today’s body of Christ is that we want the breakthroughs but not the breaking, bowing, beholding the glory and presence of God.
To be used by God in apostleship, we need to pay the cost of discipleship. Our anointing comes from the waiting time with God. Isaiah 40:31. Many want the power of Holy Spirit but not paying the price to spend time with God in intimacy. If we want to move in the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, it is not going for just a yearly encounter conference but a daily encounter with God in a deep relationship, communion and communication. Apostle Mark told us,”Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”Mark 1:35. Our spiritual direction comes from our prayer altar like Christ.
Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me closer and deeper into thy presence. Consecrate my heart and quieten my mind to set apart my life for you daily in prayer. Draw close to me as I draw closer to you. Let my spirit submit to you, resist the devil, and he shall flee. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, and direct me to serve you and anoint my head with oil so that thy wisdom be released, thy righteousness be my path and thy favor shall be my shield and rampart, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
