Today's Inspiration: Length of days and long life and peace will be added to you if your heart keep His commands. Proverbs 3:1-2. Truly our life is in God's hand. We cannot add years to our life nor subtract them as we desire. Only His Mercy and Truth endure forever and should be written in our heart. Therefore we should trust the Lord with all our heart at all times and not lean on our own understanding. He is Sovereign and chose to do as He wills. Proverbs 3:5-6.
The Lord requires full exclusive allegiance to Him. Therefore we should rebuke the destroyer of our soul at all times and not accept the attacks as our destiny. Those who rebuke the wicked will have delight and a good blessing will come upon them. Proverbs 24:25.
Apostle James wrote that we should submit to God the problems we have and resist the enemy and he will flee from you. James 4:7. Vengeance should be avoided as God grants each man a reward according to their works. V29. Self-control is difficult but it is the most beautiful fruit of the spirit to maintain. Failing to have self-control leads to disaster for he who has no rule over his spirit is surely ensnared for one who cannot rule his spirit is like a city broken down without walls. V28.
Do not seek one's glory for glorifying self is not glory. We need to glory the Lord who will not give His glory to anyone. Self glory is temporal. All the money in the world cannot sustain it. But when we glory the Lord the reward that is awaiting us is eternal.
May we acquire the wisdom of God so that our feet will not be ensnared. Wisdom and understanding is more profitable than the profits of silver and gain than fine gold. Nothing can be more precious and all your hearts desire cannot compare with her. Proverbs 3:13-15. Guard your mouth and tongue to keep your soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter but it is our responsibility to search the deeper truths of a matter. Therefore do not be complacent but diligent in seeking the Lord for the Revelation you need so that your feet will not easily slip. God be praised for His wisdom.
Prayer: Lord grant me wisdom and understanding before I act on every matter so that the choices I made have a good outcome and my soul will not be troubled. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
