21 December 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.“ ‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭63‬ ‭NIV‬‬. The wonders of the Lord are never shortfall, so does His outstretched arm of the Holy Spirit. Miracles are things which our eyes couldn’t perceive and our minds couldn’t comprehend, yet the sweet mercies of the Lord and His steadfast love never ceases. Lamentation 3:23. He makes things new every morning and great is His faithfulness. We all need a new flow and outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

When a person is filled with the Holy Spirit, tongues is not just the only evidence but the heart of the soul is liberated. Who can take away a hardened heart, a heart of stone in exchange for a heart of love? Who can turn a drug addict to a pastor, an abused to an advocate against violence or a gangster into to a lawyer? The Holy Spirit can turn all our pain into new purposes in life. He plants us as a tree by His river that blossoms many leaves and bearing countless fruits. When a seed dies, it becomes a tree and multiplies. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18‬.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me deny self, carry the Cross and follow you as your disciples. Let I be lesser and you be greater. Lead me daily and at times of great difficulties, guide and comfort me with your Holy Spirit. Turn all my pain into your purpose, all my mess into your message, and all my trials into your testimony, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
