Today’s Inspiration: “Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And they love him who speaks what is right. As messengers of death is the king’s wrath, But a wise man will appease it.” Proverbs 16:13-14 NKJV. It is easy to conquer a city with walls to siege than to break the wall of an offence taken by a brother. Wisdom says,”“A brother wronged is more unyielding than a fortified city; disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel.” Proverbs 18:19 NIV.
One day as I was praying, the Lord showed me many hearts in the body of Christ were hardened by their past offences and many cannot enter the kingdom of God because of bitterness and grudges they still hold dear. Galatians 5:20. They are self-conscious, petty and easily get angry at others at the slightest comment for them to change. They deny of need to be transformed to Christlikeness and reluctant to be open for discipleship and inner healing. In intercession, I asked the Lord for new hearts because without Christlikeness we can’t enter the Kingdom of God without fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23.
Prayer: O Lord my God, we who are called by your name shall humble ourselves and pray, to seek your face and turn from our wicked ways. I believe you shall hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. We pray for divine healing over all our offences and release forgiveness to those who had hurt us in our childhood. I choose to surrender my hardened heart to God for a new one from Him, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
