Today’s Inspiration: “In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS” Jeremiah 33:16 NKJV. It is by the grace of God that we have been saved through faith, which credits to us the righteousness of God in Christ and not through religious works. There is no righteousness without Christlikeness. And without Christlikeness we can’t enter the kingdom of God. Abraham broke free from his idol making family in Ur to follow God by faith into the promised land of Canaan, a place flowing with milk and honey. Genesis 15:6.
We need to put God’s expectation first before all things to walk in His promises. Jesus taught,”Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:31-34. 2025 is bringing us back to focus and putting God first.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let there be a spiritual awakening in my Spirit to follow Christ our Lord and righteousness. For it is not by might nor my power but by the Spirit of the Lord that we break free from our flesh, our past, and the world to realign, refocus, and return to God in putting Him first in all things, allowing Holy Spirit to transform us more into His image, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
