Today's Inspiration: God can multiply your finances equivalent to 8 months salaries to feed 5000 families in need just in one instant with whatever substance you have. Jesus knew what He was going to do when he had compassion on the multitudes coming towards Him when they saw the miraculous sign He performed on the sick. Jesus was just testing Philip when He asked him to go and buy bread for them. John 6:1-7, 10-11. How much then can you trust Jesus when you gave Him whatever substance you have?

Two principles are recorded here. Firstly when you give whatever talents or substance you have irrespective of the measure, He can use them to multiply what you need so long as you have the heart of sharing. Secondly whatever God has called you to do, you are to do it. His words maybe insignificant at the point of release, but it released an eternal truth of your calling. Philip's calling in Jesus ministry was to feed the needy. In Acts 6:3 he was ordained one of the seven deacons to support the disciples to distribute food for the widows and the needy whilst the Apostles focused on prayer and ministry of the word. When Jesus spoke to Peter after God's Revelation through him that Jesus was the Son of God, He spoke with authority that Peter would build His church upon the foundation of His teaching and the gates of hell will not prevail. He will give him the keys of the kingdom of heaven and Earth. Matthew 16:18-19. Though Peter denied him three times God's calling is eternal. Jesus came back in John 21:15-17 to reinstate His calling after healing him of his guilt and imparting to him the boldness to preach His word of the kingdom that led to the formation of the church. Acts 2. Indeed God's calling is eternal. His gifts and His call are irrevocable. Has God spoken and yet not fulfill it? Romans 11:29. Do not doubt your calling when circumstances seem tough! They are pathway to success. Prayer: Who has known the mind of the Lord? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever Amen.
