27 January 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.” Proverbs‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬. When we pray, seek not just for the hand of God but the mind of Christ. Even King Solomon as a young ruler asked for wisdom from the Lord to rule Israel. 1 Kings 3:11. Wisdom is not human knowledge or understanding, it is the heart of discernment. In this end of times, we to discern the spirit of deception, covetousness and greed. In recent news from global financial survey had shown that billion of dollars were scammed. Many even took their lives because of life savings gone. There are even love, health, religious and job scams.

Satan come to steal, kill and destroy but God gives us Christ to have wisdom to discern the right and wrong, the truth and lies. Proverbs spoke,”I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.” Proverbs‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬-‭14.‬ ‭Prudence guards us with skill and good judgment in the use of resources and caution of danger and risk. This also brings forth the sagacity of handling and managing relationships. In fact the most powerful evidence of God’s anointing is the exercising of His wisdom on all matters. His peace shall guard your mind and heart. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I pray and ask for your divine wisdom to handle my work, family, and ministry with prudence. Give me a heart of discernment that I do not get easily distracted and to refute all deceptions of the enemy. Let my focus and eyes be upon you daily for thy wisdom, counsel and guidance, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
