Today’s Inspiration: “The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning. Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.” Proverbs 16:21-22 NKJV. Prudence is the attribute of the wise because one makes room for correction, even rebuke but with encouragement as well. It is done with great patience and careful instructions. 2 Timothy 4:2. A true leader builds trust and confidence, before bringing earnest counsel and convictions.
We cannot build a true relationship without investing time, deep listening and empathetic understanding. This was the original relationship between God and man in the garden of Eden. The sweetness of life and love comes from understanding and timely words of edification, exhortation, and comfort. One eats the fruit of their wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. For wisdom says,”From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”Proverbs 18:20-21. When we improve our communication with God and man, it improves the quality of life in the soul.
Prayer: O Lord my God, may the Spirit of the Lord speak to my soul and may the ears and eyes of my heart be ever waiting upon your Word daily. Help me to discern my communication, communion and the words that is coming out from my heart. May it not be salt water but fresh and living waters which brings love, hope and faith to one another, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
