Today‘s Inspiration: “Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.”1 Corinthians 12:1 NIV. God has not given us His Holy Spirit just to be saved but to be sanctified and to serve. We all need the leading of the Holy Spirit daily and to be a power witness when we share the gospel and to pray for the least, the lost, and the lack. Every one of us is a full-time minister be it as a pastor in church or businessman in marketplace or even a housemaker in the family. Miracles can happen when we pray.
All of us can be a vessel of honour for the Lord, to be salt and light to the world who doesn’t know Christ. Let us not be self conscious but Christ conscious in the Spirit. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 1 Corinthians 4:20. It is not how long we have been a Christian but how much God can use us for His glory. I remembered being just a year old Christian and prayed over a friend’s migraine through the house phone. After the conversation we put down the phone, in seconds the call came back to say the pain was gone. I realised we cannot be just hearer of the Word but doers of the Word. Holy Spirit desire us to be His power witness. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe you have anointed me with your Holy Spirit and greater is you who is in me than satan in this world. Use me to be a power witness to those who don’t know you or those who are in need for the touch of your glory. We serve a resurrected Christ who is alive and mighty to save, heal, and deliver from the works of the enemy. Use us as your healing, miracles, signs and wonders to bear witness for Christ, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
