Today's Inspiration: David desires to teach transgressors God's ways so that sinners will be converted to Him. Psalm 51:2. To do this, he asked God to create in him a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within him and not to take His Holy Spirit from him. V10-11. It's a cry for repentance.
For God's transforming grace to find a home in us, we need to empty ourselves of all the toxicity which we have accumulated for years like men's opinions and false speculations of us.
We should not be affected by what men think of us but what God expects of us. We need His word to light up our lamp to shine eternally for Him. This is the desire of God's heart. We are entering into a season of God calling us to arise and shine. How can we arise and shine this season with covid-19, you may ask? It's only when circumstances are harsh would you seek God for opportunities to shine for Him. Jesus is waiting to pour out His cup of opportunities for you to shine. Will you be the next candidate? God be praised.
Prayer: O Lord, may I be a green olive tree in the house of God. I will trust in Your mercies forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
