Today’s Inspiration: “Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.” Ecclesiastes 7:9-10 NIV. When we look at problems, people or past, we can easily get frustrated or disappointed because of our current plight or situation. Comparison provokes envy, jealousy, bitterness, anger, criticism and resentment which does not produce the righteousness of God.

The Word of God teaches us to (Q.S.S) be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger. James 1:19. Quick to listen to the Spirit of God, the Word of God and not the flesh, the world or the devil. Be quick to always turn to Christ, pray in the Spirit, and proclaim the promises of God and that’s when we guard our tongues and receive the peace and favor from God in our minds. The Spirit says,”Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.”1 Peter 3:10 Contentment with godliness is great gain daily with thanksgiving in our hearts. The latter days shall be more glorious than the former ones, just as eternity with Christ. Shalom!
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me if I had look to man or things and not unto you. Forgive me for any anger, resentment or rage on my tongue. Let my spirit not be easily provoked but eagerly and faithfully pray and make intercession. My Hope is in you my Lord and my Christ alone. Renew my mind for the future and let my heart be filled with gratitude of your grace daily with your goodness and loving kindness. I choose to believe in your Word and do your commands, knowing I shall see good days through Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
