3 October 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.” Psalms‬ ‭118:5-7‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Our Lord is not just our saviour but is our King. He is the mighty warrior and the Great I Am. Do not be kept by your current struggles, hardship, injustice or disappointment in the flesh but be led by the Holy Spirit into the spacious place which God has for you. When Abraham split ways with Lot and given the choicest land to him, we see Abraham as a father who is willing to sacrifice for peace and love with a generous heart. Yet God always has a better plan when we chose Him and not the world. It’s time to walk with Him up the mountain. Genesis 13:14.

Never make long term decisions for momentary problems. But wait upon the Lord and be led by Him in this season to hear His still small voice. 1 Kings 19:12. When we wait and walk with God, He brings us to a higher elevation, a wider perspective, and a deeper understanding of His longer term plan, just like Abraham when the Lord showed him the land He is blessing him and his offsprings, a divine vision that surpasses all his predicaments and healed his sorrows. Apostle Paul taught,” I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Romans‬ ‭8:18-19‬ ‭NIV‬‬. God has his new vision for us that will renew our minds and hearts to pursue Him and not the World. This vision shall be so powerful that it literally sets all things in divine order, with new direction, healing and expectations of hope, faith and love for your future. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, be thou my vision and let me not be short sighted of my present troubles. Take me to your spacious land and mountain to reveal thy glorious works of your kingdom. Open my eyes and my ears, lead my feet and my mind to your greater plans and purposes that I may serve your will and witness your glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
