Today‘s Inspiration: “Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 8:34-35 NKJV. Our spiritual life grows not by our works but by our intimacy with God. Our anointing grows not by our ability but by our vulnerability to God. Watchfulness keeps us in prayerfulness. Why? It is because most people only pray to God when trouble or crisis comes. This is the carnal nature of the flesh. But we are spiritual beings.
Satan’s scheme is to find all ways to distract you from prayer, worship, and spending time with God and His Word of wisdom. Without the Holy Spirit living in us, there is no light and fire in our Spirit man. Our spirit is the lamp of God. Proverbs 20:27 To defeat the devil and wage victorious warfare for divine supernatural breakthroughs, we need to come to God with earnestness, faithfulness and selflessness in the Spirit, praying at all times. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool. Psalms 110:1. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the strength when I am weak, you are the treasure that I seek, and you are my all in all. Draw me close to you as I seat at your feet. Fill my lamp with oil by your Spirit day and night that the temple of the Holy Spirit be filled with your glory in all times and seasons. You are my banner and my Lord, Jehovah Nissi, whose mighty right hand shall defeat all my enemies, heal all my infirmities and prosper my land, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
