Today’s Inspiration: “If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.” Proverbs 28:9 NIV. Have we ever meditated on our walk with God? God sees our obedience more than our sacrifices. 1 Samuel 15:22. God’s Word is the lamp to our feet and the light to our path, so let’s examine whether are we walking according to His word and will, or are we moving according to our fleshly desires and ways. If ever our prayers are hindered, it is likely due to our disobedience.
In fact all roots of curses, idolatry, divination and witchcraft are due to disobedience to God. 1 Samuel 15:23. When we take offense, it comes under a curse of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness hardens our hearts and hinders our prayers. We cannot enter God’s presence without true repentance, sincere conviction and wholehearted forgiveness. Jesus taught,”Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”Matthew 5:23-24 So let 2025 be free of the snare of offences in Jesus’s Name.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to take offense in 2025. For obedience to your word is better than sacrifice. I choose to forgive those who had hurt me and choose to repent before your throne of grace. May the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to you. May all my prayers be aligned to your prayers for me and family with new breakthroughs, in Jesus Name, Amen.
