Today‘s Inspiration: “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” Isaiah 44:3 NIV. Generational curses can flow down to the third and fourth generation but the blessings of God goes through thousand of generations, for those who love Him and His Word. Exodus 20:5. Many today are dry spiritually, easily deceived and restless because of the lack of a prayer and word reading life.
Prayer and Word are evidences of a Powerful Christian life to overcome Satan’s lies, temptations and evil schemes. To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”John 8:31-32. Ironically, the church today may not lacking of worship or even prayer but dangerously lacking commitment, discipline and devotion to the Word of God. Without God’s word we can get emotionally spiritual in the flesh than truthfully discerning in the Spirit. Be committed in reading and meditating God’s Word.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your Word be the lamp to my feet and light to my path daily. Faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God from your Scriptures. They are Spirit and they are life to my spirit, soul, and body. As you had spoken to the disciples at the road of Emmaus and their hearts were set on fire, let your Word set my Spirit on fire for Christ and the gospel, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
