Today’s Inspiration: “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.”I Peter 2:15-16 NKJV. The timeless truth of the gospel reminds us that actions always speak louder than words, not just to know the gospel but living out a godly life with the Word of God. If there is no transformation, there is no growth in our spiritual life. Don’t get easily ensnared into petty arguments or be easily discouraged by people who do nothing but being critical or judgemental.
In 2025, let’s put on Christ and work out our salvation with fear and trembling, learning to love one another as ourselves. Romans 13:14 Our deep relationship with God comes through allowing Christ to come with His Holy Spirit to mould and change us inwardly and spiritually, transforming our attitude, behaviour and character with His Word. Correction, rebuke and loving encouragement is needed to become more like Christ. 2 Timothy 4:2 We all need the heart of discipleship to be humble, obedient and teachable. What we think might be right may be wrong in the eyes of the Lord. Do we allow the Holy Spirit to convict and correct us? What are the attitude and actions we need to change?
Prayer: O Lord my God, you love who you discipline, correct, and direct. Let me be your clay and you be my potter. You are the master and I am your bondservant. You are the teacher and I am your disciple. You are the author and finisher of my faith. Let me be your vessel of honor and action, quick to listen and slow to speak. For you are the way, the truth and the life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
