8 April 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬. The most powerful breakthrough is breaking out of our past. The enemy always likes to remind us about our sins, failures, abuses, and pain in the past. It’s like a merry-go-round or a rocking chair that doesn’t progress forward. The old man, the old wineskin, and old garments aren’t able to become a new man, sustaining the new wine, and receiving new garments of praise.

The finished work of Christ is the power to bring forgiveness of our sins, transgressions, and iniquities of the past through repentance and forgiveness with the precious and mighty blood of Jesus Christ. The renewal of our minds come through a surrendered heart for it frees us from our past and lead us into the calling, purpose and destiny of God’s divine plans of redemption. Jeremiah 29:11 We all need new renovation of our spiritual house, our minds, the temple of the Holy Spirit. We no longer being ensnared by what we did or who did to us, but what Christ has done for us at the Cross. Freely receive and we shall freely give the grace of God, in healing, deliverance and restoration. Matthew 10:8 Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for the Cross and your grace that is poured and lavished upon my soul and my past. Your grace is sufficient for me. I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward, in Jesus Name, Amen.
