Today’s Inspiration: “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Jesus taught in order to be His disciples we have to first deny ourselves, carry the Cross and follow Him. Luke 9:23. It is not self denial of truth but to surrender our whole mind and heart to Him as a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1.

There are many things in our head and heart when we wake up. Maybe we are having a bad flu and cough season; battling health problems; having relational challenges; finding job or business or facing financial difficulties. You are not alone. They are bellows of waves and storms which we face in life. There are many reasons to pray for but what is needed is to come to God earnestly. Matthew 6:33. The fear of the Lord is humility. The prominence of God’s presence is found in the weakness of our souls. He will give us the strength, healing, providence, wisdom and peace to overcome by faith as we pray and seek His face.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I am too blessed to be stressed in your presence. For in your presence, I find thy love, joy and peace. Hide me in your secret place of prayer, as I abide in thy ways, thy song and thy word. For the joy of the Lord is my strength, for my heart hides your Word that I will not sin against you. In you there is a fullness of joy, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
