8 November 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Praying in the Spirit is not just praying in tongues but letting the the Word and Will of God work through your mind, your heart and your body. Divine healing takes place when we pray with the Holy Spirit of God. Only the Word of God reveals to us more about Jesus and His fullness.

Today we transcends through many services, meetings and seminars. But what is important to God is not expansion but retention of His Word because that is when His power manifests deepest. What is the reason why a soul is spiritual dry and not growing in maturity? It is like a fig tree in the desert rather than tree by the river which bears its fruits throughout all seasons and its leaves never withers. Psalms 1:3. One Word of God that goes into your spirit can change your whole entire season and turnaround for the good for you in times of challenge. This was a common statement by our late Rev. Alicia. Always keep your Bible open for revelation and be deeply rooted by the Word and love of Christ. Divine Transformation takes place when we begin to obey and walk according to the Word of God. Faith can only come by the Word of God. Romans 10:17. When our walk becomes His Word, His Word becomes the Talk for evangelism.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me be always rooted and grounded by your Word. It is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. I shall meditate your Word day and night like a tree planted by your living waters. They are spirit and life to my soul. Let me always find you in your Word, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
