8 November 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.” Ezekiel‬ ‭37‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV. Spiritual dryness comes when our lives is directed by the flesh and not by the Holy Spirit. The dangers of over spiritual and being lukewarm are equally detrimental. The former causes one to be fearful and the latter indifference. We could see evidently in the body of Christ.

The Church needs a calling of Ezekiel to awaken the body of Christ from spiritual slumber and religiosity with the word of God. We have to pray to break the spirit of consumerism, isolation and idolatry. Let the Holy Spirit bring in consecration, conviction, and christlikeness for all dry bones to be restore to life. Church life is not about what I want or like but what God desires and how He directs us with His Word and Wisdom. It is not pleasing self but pleasing the Lord. Being hungry and thirsty for God’s Word, Wisdom, and Work, keeps our spiritual life burning in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in our hearts.

Prayer: O Lord my God, come with thy breath; prophesy, from the four winds and let breath enter. Let our spiritual life come to life, being stood up on the feet like a vast army. Let the fire in the temple of the Holy Spirit, never fail to burn day and night. For those who hunger and thirst for your righteousness, they shall be filled, in Jesus' Name Amen.
