Today’s Inspiration: "My word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11 NIV. The hardest thing to do for a Christian and yet it is the easiest way to reach God is to read His Word. I find it strange that no matter how many sermons is preached or Word of God is taught, why is there no breakthrough or even the healing or deliverance cannot be sustained? One day the Holy Spirit told me that the people do not have hunger for His Word. In simple terms, "They don’t read the Bible." This goes with Christians who had been to church for decades. We have many Martha and few Mary.

We could have many prayers, programs, conferences, seminars, or even prophetic retreats or workshops, but no personal spiritual or character transformation by God. Why? We don’t build a personal relationship with God’s Word which is reading, meditating, and sanctifying by the Word of God through the Holy Spirit. We want religion but not relationship because it takes time and sacrifices. There is no supernatural transformation in us without reading and internalizing the Word of God. Apostle Paul taught, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:16-17
Praise God for His Word.
Prayer: O Lord my God, bring me back to your Word in Spiritual discipline. Let your fire stirs up a hunger and thirst to read and hear from your Word to meditate day and night. Let my heart be changed and renewed daily. That I will be a tree planted by your river of life which will bear great fruit in all seasons. My leaves will not wither and what I do according to your Word shall prosper and give you glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
